reflect the way Puerto Ricans speak and interact, shedding light on an under-represented cultural setting. The use of black and white was to drew the audience’s attention to the characters and story. The halation effect evokes a sense of nostalgia and dreaminess while maintaining a raw and unpolished look. This project was born out of my fascination with people-watching and observing the subtle gestures, and interactions that reveal character. Ultimately, I hope that the film entertains and connects with people on personal levels, making them appreciate the individuals who pass us by every day and the fleeting moments that make up our lives
