Una venganza que transforma y te lleva al límite de la cordura.

Synopsis:

‘Fragmentos de Silencio’ es una poderosa y provocadora obra teatral que explora la desgarradora historia de una novia cuya vida se desmorona en su propia boda. Traicionada por su novio, su hermana, el sacerdote y hasta el jardinero de la iglesia, nuestra novia se sumerge en una disociación mental y se transforma en una fuerza desatada de venganza. ‘Fragmentos de Silencio’ es un retrato crudo y provocador de los efectos devastadores del acoso en la vida de una mujer, mostrando la profundidad de su sufrimiento y confusión. A través de una narrativa intensa y simbólica, busca generar reflexión sobre la vulnerabilidad humana, la lucha por la justicia, los límites de la cordura en situaciones extremas y las consecuencias devastadoras de violar la dignidad de una persona. Esta obra teatral busca desafiar las percepciones del público a través de una puesta en escena que combina elementos visuales impactantes, diálogos potentes y un enfoque audaz para transmitir el mensaje central de la historia.

La soledad y los recuerdos que pueden terminar en una terrible desconección de la realidad, paranoia o alucinación.

Sinopsis:

Presenta la vida de una artista alejada de sus amistades, de sus actividades y sobre todo abandonada por quien ella considera su gran amor que vive en una soledad constante donde solo la acompañan los recuerdos y un viejo violoncelo que con pocas cuerdas la transporta a su antiguo oficio de música clásica. Desconectada de la realidad, entre paranoia o alucinaciones, incapaz de afrontar los problemas o el estrés de la vida diaria.

LUIS CABALLERO

Luis Caballero is writer, actor and theater and film director with over 30 years of experience. During the last season he direct the famous production GALA Puerto Rico…¡fuá!, the cast was nominated for Helen Hayes Award in 2013 for Spectacular Group, Production Residence.

Caballero has directed in his natal Puerto Rico, also in new York, Los Angeles y San Francisco. 

VERONICA CAICEDO

Film/Theater Producer and Director. CEO, and founder of Caicedo Productions, The International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival and The One Festival.

DR. ZORINA COSTELLO

Director of Community Engagement for The Center of Spirituality and Health Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System.

PAOLA DEI

Audiovisual educator, Art Psychologist, Art Therapist and Psychotherapist. She is a SNCCI and Fipresci film critic, ANCT theater critic, and a professor of Psychology of Art and Neuroesthetics in post-graduate specialization schools and Artistic Director of the Bulli ed Eroi Val di Chiana Senese International Children’s Film FestivalCreator of the Psicomoda Abitarsi campaign

JAIME ESTADES

Adjunct Professor of School of Social Work at Columbia University and New York University. Founder of the Latino Leadership Institute. He has committed his life to advocacy, education, health and leadership training.

DR. SIDNEY HANKERSON

Director of Mental Health Equity Research and Vice Chair of Community Engagement, Mt. Sinai. His research focuses on reducing racial/ethnic disparities in mental health.

CHRIS SHIMOGINA

Filmmaker, Director, Writer, Producer, Editor. Graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dramatic Writing. His more recent feature film is Alberto the Concrete Jungle.
